Our New Addition...

Buddy joined our family at the end of March. We adopted him from Heart of Texas Lab Rescue. He is a 4 year old chocolate lab and full of energy!!

A little more fun over Spring Break...

We also hung out with our good friends The Ashley's over the break. We met them through Abby, their daughter Sloane is in Abby's kindergarten class. They are lots of fun, just one minor problem, they are Longhorns... So please disregard the Longhorn hand gesture!

Spring Break

My how the Vannoy's were looking forward to Spring Break. Unfortunately Zakk doesn't get a Spring Break, but I"m SURE he enjoyed some quiet time in Dripping Springs. The girls headed to Houston on Saturday and stopped in Cat Spring to play a bit at the farm.

In Houston we spent lots of time with Mimi and Boppy, as well as Bowen and AJ. I will post some pictures of our trip to the zoo and the rodeo as soon as I get the pictures off another camera.

We got back to Dripping Springs on Wednesday, St. Patricks Day, just in time for dinner with Dad. He had fixed a traditional Irish dish, Shephard's Pie and we had to have a green beer with it. The girls just had green water, promise! :o)

Snow February 23, 2010

There was a 90% chance of snow in the Austin area and most of us thought, yeh, right! Well, sure enough, we woke up to freezing rain and a couple of hours later the snow was falling! Here are some pictures of the house at the end of the day!

And when we woke up the next morning, the girls just had to play in the snow before it melted. Thy both had the urge to eat the snow, so here is Emma;

And then Abby just had to make a snow angel;

And then eat a little snow herself;

What a fun SNOW DAY!!
